OCEAN WATER:COMPOSITION AND TEMPERATURE
Oceanographers have leaned that ocean water comtains many dissolved chemicals. these include sodium, chlorine, silica, and calcium. The two most abandat chemicals are sodium and chlorine in the form of sodium chloride, a substance known as table salt. Sodium is dissolved in river waters that flow into oceans. Chlorine is added by underwater volcanoes. Together, these two chemicals combine to form a salt called sodium chloride or balite.
